Modern Roots: PRESS REVIEWS
Thank you very much for sending REDradio a copy of your album "No Apologies". I recently reviewed it and I must say you gentlemen did a wonderful job. The songs on "No Apologies" are generally very lively and upbeat. I particularly enjoyed "Locked Out of Love" and "Under the Rug". I will definitely be suggesting your music to my DJs. Thank You again.Michelle, REDradio Music Director

HOT OFF THE PRESS...
As a perk when having copies made of "No Apologies", at Discmakers, We received a free "Critique" of a song of our choice from "Taxi" (a music placement service for Artists, TV, Film & Commercials) We chose to have them critique "Strike." Ken, Season's greetings and thanks for sending in your song Strike. It was thoroughly fun and highly enjoyable slice of classic Jump Blues Swing. The playing was strong throughout with the guitar work from about 1:30 in especially noteworthy. Rhythm section was solid and tasty throughout in a supporting role. Vocals had lots of spirit - the energy was high the whole song. Vocal harmonies were a wee bit raggedy in places, though that fit the vibe of the song. Recording quality was generally good, though drums could have had a bit more impact. All and all, a really fun track here Ken!
