Mary Kay and Tom
Thanks! I have not seen Kris since I read this, but I wil pass the word.
Your site looks great,I enjoyed your music, thanks for sharing! We have been in contact with Ed, chck out our "Links". I do not know Rex,must be a great polka guy! I never got to mix with players of that caliber here in little Alliance.
I have the bio finished and I'm holding out for movie rights!
Thanks again, please keep in touch and keep us up with your music!

...just wanted to say your bio is such a charming crack up Kenny! You really should keep writing until you get enough for a whole book then publish it because everybody would just love it! Tom remembers a lot of the guys you mentioned, since he grew up there in Alliance (I'm from Newton Falls and my dad always warned me about Alliance guys so I had to go down there and marry one)! Tom sez to ask whatever happened to Ed Kolakowski? By the way do you know my cousin Rex Taneri sax player whose in the Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame? Well thanks for the nostalgia! -- Mary Kay

Nice Web Site! Kenny please if you see Kris Keifer tell her we tried to find her on youtube and could not. She called us up today out of the blue after not having seen her for 37 years! It was great talking to Kris, I got hooked on dirt bike riding due to her and the Action Sports Cycles gang all those years ago. Anyway, your name came up in the rambling fun conversation that drifted over to music, and she said to check out your site. Anyway, I hope you see Kris some time and tell her we tried to find her on youtube anyway and we send best of everything from Out West here in Carson City, Nevada to ALL you Buckeyes! -- Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance AKA Slim and Minnie guitar, mandolin, accordion, vocals and fun! http://aufrance.com/music/

Denny, glad to see you are still playing. I remember that you and I started playing about the same time. The Rumbletones WERE the first rock band in Salem regardless of what one individual claims. I still play here in North Carolina, and like you, I will never give it up.

Dig your sound. Smooth and mature. I'll look for you when you make it to Salem again. Used to play at Rock City a few name changes ago myself.

I just logged onto your website to see if you guys were playing anywhere soon. I started reading your Bios and could not stop. It was very entertaining and also educational. Yet, being from Alliance, I felt like I had crawled out from under a rock. Mainly because, I had missed so much of the great music you guys have done over the years. And, a lot of it was right there around town. Oh, what a sheltered life I must have led!
"Disappointing" may not be the right word for the Bios from Mike B. and John S. You guys are way too modest and way too private about your musical history, careers, and accomplishments that others would love to know about. I only say this because I have seen you guys for years - since, no before, The Chylds - with Joe Vitali on drums. C'mon guys. Open up and share with the people that might look at this stuff and want to know what great and accomplished musicians you truely are. Alliance has produced some phenominal talent. Many were mentioned in Kenny's and Jeff's Bios. Not everyone has achieve their acclaim to stardom, but you guys - all of YOU, and others from our old town, are true, "professional musicians". We fans, that enjoy your work and love of music, would really appreciate More. You put your talent and abilities 2nd to your families, and I respect that. Otherwise, who knows to what heights you may have gone. Whether married, or single, family and Roots kept you from leaving, or brought you back to Alliance. We, fans, are fortunate to have you guys doing what you do and allowing us to share in that experience. And, you guys give me the "Big Chill" that Kenny spoke of. I marval at your talent. The most memorable "Chill" for me was when I first heard the Eagles live in the late 60's do Witchy Woman. To this day, those cords bring those chill bumps - even thinking about it.
Love you guys!

Hey Kenny I read the bio's today, they're great. I remember the "Six Pack" signs in the station wagon, you couldn't see out if you sat in the back. It was cool having a big brother playing guitar in a band, I used it to impress the "chicks",I would take them to stand outside of Mark Frazier's garage and Tony's little house to see you practice. I thought you were the greatest guitar player then and nothing has changed... Love ya Big Brother....Don

Smokin' new name and website! Always a pleasure to see you guys live and hear you play. The best dancin' blues band in the land. Keep on doin' the musical renovations by blowing the doors off and tearing the roof off of every place.
